Classical Kathak Dance

I am a trained Kathak dancer. I have gone through extensive training and have competed in various state and national level competitions in all over India. I have deep knowledge of Kathak dance. I moved to the U.S.A. in 1995. After a nineteen years hiatus owing to professional reasons, I rekindled my love for actively practicing and performing Kathak dance in 2014. I started teaching Kathak in response to requests from my community and have been doing so since then.
Indian Folk dance and Bollywood dance

I am a trained Rajasthani Folk Dancer. I have performed a variety of folk dances in various on stage programs starting from my elementary school to college days. I choreograph Bollywood dances and have been teaching Bollywood dance in the central New York area for the past three years.
